2005 Pinot Noir, Santa Rita Hills
100% Santa Rita Hills grapes from several small vineyards went into this wine. A bit bolder than our estate wine with higher acidity and tannins but still very approachable and pleasant with a bowlful of berries and even a little strawberry! Although dry a supple sweetness to the fruit gives the impression of residual sugar. Easy on the pallet with lingering fruit. Drink or hold for 2-3 years.
